1. The current minimum is 18
You must currently be at least 18 to create or control a Styvi account. A higher minimum can still apply where local law, a platform rule or a particular feature requires it.
If the available platform signal does not establish 18+ eligibility, Styvi may be unable to complete registration. A telephone number or written birthday is not used as a shortcut around that result.
2. Apple or Google provides a broad result
On supported Apple devices, Apple's Declared Age Range capability can provide an eligibility result or broad age range. On supported Android devices, Google can provide a broad age or supervision signal. Apple or Google controls how that platform result is established.
Styvi receives only the broad result needed for eligibility and safety settings. Styvi does not receive, request or store your date of birth through this age-assurance flow.
3. The rule follows the person in control
The 18+ rule applies to the human being who creates and controls the account, even when the profile represents a business, brand, shop, project, organization or pet.
Changing the profile subject does not transfer responsibility away from the account controller or remove the minimum-age requirement.
4. Why Styvi checks eligibility
- To apply one clear entry rule across social posting, messaging, purchases, AI features and other community tools.
- To support safer community participation and reduce attempts to bypass age-based protections.
- To meet applicable contract, consumer, privacy, child-safety and online-service laws.
- To follow age conditions imposed by app platforms and providers used to operate Styvi.
5. Privacy and help
Styvi may retain the broad eligibility or age-range result, the applicable policy version and limited integrity information needed to prove that the check was completed. It does not turn that result into a birthday.
Questions about an unexpected result can be sent to samuel.kubinec@icloud.com. Support cannot change your date of birth with Apple or Google and cannot manually invent an eligible result.
